This link necklace features the incredible work of the Mexican metalsmiths. It is made of alpaca metal which looks like silver and wears like iron. The metal is an alloy with zinc, copper and tin. The inlay work is tiny chips of dark blue sodalite and turquoise in a mosaic . The necklace measures 18.50 inches long and each piece is gently scalloped for a very feminine look and fit. With these scallops, the necklace makes a usable length of well over 20 inches. The largest piece is not quite 1 inch high.
